Hi - I have tried to find in the keyboard cheat sheet, but couldn't find it. But does anyone know the keyboard shortcut to refresh the list? e.g. I have a filter on the page and then make some edits to the page and want to refresh the list (browser F5 does not work always, and often results in the filter itself being removed, which result in having to type the filter criteria again)

Hello, Does anyone know if checkvist backup also exports the attachments/files, or only the list items (text)?

I keep repasting a task when I want to paste a new task. I find myself repeatedly pressing Ctrl+X, then pasting a task somewhere else with Ctrl+V (Windows). Then I select a new task and attempt the same thing. The selected task is shown dimmed and italicized, yet what I paste is the preceding task. Anyone else have this happen? Any suggestions to avoid it? Orson

Custom tag icons similar to time parsing? I'd like to add a tag like #pomo-6 or #pomo6 and have it show as an icon with just the number next to it. So far I've used the CSS snippets to replace the general #pomo tag with an icon, but wasn't able to do that with #pomo-6 or #pomo6 (variants). Next, I'd try hiding the "#pomo" part altogether and just show the number and my icon. Any ideas? I can share my custom CSS if needed, thanks!

I am amazed almost daily by the thoughtful little things that make CheckVist extremely quick and easy -- I am not distracted by the interface when I want to get thoughts down. Nothing else that I've tried touches it. A question: is it possible to make a copy of a list while preserving the time stamps? -- Either copying in Checkvist of by exporting would do. (When I copy, it sets all the items to the time of the copy action.) I sometimes use the time stamps to sync to a recorded talk or interview; I would like to be able to manipulate the outline without destroying the time information.

Checkvist still rocks! Just been through a check of everything else that is out there as I've been frustrated by some features missing from Checkvist. These features are largely out there but not in any one system. I've looked at ToDoist, Nozbe, MLO, Workflowy, Todo Cloud, Zendone, GTD Toolkit, GTDfaster, Nirvana, GetItDone (5), Any.do and a few others... Nothing comes close to Checkvist. Checkvist's keyboard shortcuts are unsurpassed and it's all just so fluid and easy in Checkvist. One of my frustrations is managing stagnated/old tasks, I'd love a sort by modification date but for now "sd" (show detail) and searching for date parts works for me I'd also like to see these features at some point: Filtering/search logic, filter/search filter by no color (color: 0), speeding up or removing delay for search index update, search by custom date range, searching by specific projects (or project tag?), global search by part words Keep the features coming Kiri

In some cases, moving a task with Ctrl+Up changes the level. When multiple tasks are selected, this changes hierarchy. Has somebody noticed?

Note on Ctrl+D (duplicate): If multiple tasks are selected, I'd expect all of them to be duplicated, not just the last one that was selected. Is it supposed to work this way?

Apparent login BUG ... Created my account yesterday but I almost gave up on it after the first couple hours of falling in love when I couldn't get logged back in! The login is currently asking for email (by text and/or envelope icon) -- but what it apparently wants is the username -- not the email address. workaround: When I logged in with my username where it asked for email address, it worked nicely!

Is a timestamp automatically created for an item when created? If so how can I find it?

Hi! When calculating estimated time, 1 day = 8 hours. Can this be changed or is there a setting to change it so 1 day = X hours, X set by me? If not, I wonder if there's a setting to not convert 8 h into 1 day when calculating parent estimated time from the estimated time of its subtasks, so i.e. 4 h + 3 h + 2 h = 9 h, not "1d 1 h". I'm a teacher, and my job day isn't 8 hours, but lower ;). Thanks in advance!

Sometimes when I switch to a different list (ll + first letter or two of destination list name + enter), the list opens in a new tab. Typically it will open in the same tab, but now and then it's in a new one. I think this is most common from the Due list, but I haven't kept a careful note and wouldn't swear to it. It's a minor irritant and I typically just close the new tab, go back to where I was and try again. This is in Chrome on a mac. Has anyone else experienced this or know why it might happen?

Is there a hotkey (or similar) to insert the current date or timestamp in a task description? Something like ^today for due dates. Thanks!

Hi! Is there a way to reorder the notes of a given task? By now, I can only append a new note after the last one. It could be great if we can use Ctrl+up/down to move a note up/down, like a task.

Hi! Is there a way to customize the way iCal integration creates an event? I use Google Calendar and the Checkvist iCal integrations looks great, but: 1. It could be great to use task note as the event description. Now, the events shows only the task title as the event title and there's no event description. 2. It could be great if the event has an URL link to the task in the Checkvist list. 3. It could be great too if we can have separate iCal sources for each list. Thanks a lot!

In the Due list, when you change the due date of an item, the currently selected item follows that item to its new position, eg. if there's an item due today, and you change it to a week away, the selected line shifts to the 'next week' section of the Due list. I find this awkward as I'm invariably processing the items in a given section --ideally 'Today', but more often 'Overdue' ;( The current behaviour forces me to move the selection back to where it was. I think the natural behaviour is to position the selection on the item subsequent to the item that just had its due date changed.

Hi. This is just features suggestion and moans. 1) I can not sort lists by alphabet in mobile version. Only by last update. This is horrible. 2) I can not sort lists manually in any version of checkvist. This is sadly. 3) One of most important advantages of checkvist is fast feedback of user interface (time between user input and application respond). In the mobile version, this advantage is lost: - slow first start. ~5 seconds. - slow animation of bottom panel (pin, done, delete). It moves ~ 0.5 sec. This animation is unwanted 4) Mobile widget will be very useful

what's ~50 everyday things most ppl do every day with this (among 90% of users) to help make your life easier, and how -- exactly -- does each thing help make your life easier? asking cos trying to find the most useful between all outliners, dynalist, omnioutliner, etc. and all related things that do essentially the same thing like docs, etc. thanks
