Saved searches

Saved searches For some time I use Dynalist (before discovering checkvist). One of the things I like about dynalist is the ability to create saved searches. This is very useful when doing something like a weekly review. That way you can define what tags and dates you want to see when you do a review without having to type them in. Is there some way in Checkvist to do something similiar. Thanks for your help. Chris

Search with logical operators

Search with logical operators I feel like I am missing the obvious. Is it possible to do a search across lists with logical operators like AND and NOT. I would like to do something like this as a search: due:any or #Work Thanks!

Mobile CSS?

Mobile CSS? I am curious if there is guidance for markup of the CSS for mobile. I like the mobile view, but I could see the benefit of adapting it as well with some of the same customizations (customization of tags as an example). Thanks, Chris

When I "wipe" completed items, the item counts update on the individual list pages, but not on the main list of lists. I've tried refreshing, and even logging in through another browser. This has happened before, and I believe that eventually these numbers will update. Is the update done server-side on some kind of timer?

gg does not open item in new tab?

gg does not open item in new tab? From https://checkvist.com/checklists#due I used to hit gg on an item to open it in new tab, now it is opening in the same tab. How to revert it back to old behavior. https://checkvist.com/checklists#due

UPDATE: Appears to be operator error. Please ignore.

UPDATE: Appears to be operator error. Please ignore. The search due:overdue is not working for me on list pages. These searches all work: due:today, due:tomorrow, due:any. I can see the overdue items on the Due page ( http://checkvist.com/checklists#due ) and on the individual list pages, and even when I search for due:overdue globally, but not when I search for due:overdue on the individual list pages.

Critical bugfix update on https://m.checkvist.com - editing of list items on mobile might encode some characters into HTML, breaking content. Thanks Jayesh Bhoot for letting us know about the issue.

Hi all!

Hi all! I'm a new user, but I'm already loving Checkvist. I would like to ask a question though about a function I can't seem to get working. When I do a search in a list, eg. for one of the tags, the search results don't only show the actual elements that have that tag, but also their parents. In the help I read: "On Due and Search pages Checkvist shows list items without parents. ... To toggle context on and off, press sc ('show context') or select the Show context in the View options menu in the toolbar." Now, my problem is that I see this setting on the Due page, but I can't find a way to hide context, parent tasks in the general search results. Am I missing something? Thanks!

I just realized what if you don't have any feature in checkvist... You can create it by yourself by creating Greasemonkey scripts. Like embed existing lists, for example. It's still work in progress. But already can be useful. And only with mouse for now =( https://gyazo.com/2f471abd18d606c76fb1537f1122a617 https://gyazo.com/2f471abd18d606c76fb1537f1122a617

I tried to find a Telegram bot which will create task for me (or send images and filed to the list).

I tried to find a Telegram bot which will create task for me (or send images and filed to the list). I found this @etlgr_bot. You can use it to add a task by e-mail. Not very comfortable (you need to type sender e-mail every time, can't just resend message to the bot) but can be useful if you have something in your Telegram and want to send it to Checkvist. #tricks #checkvist_tricks ----------------------------------------------------- I created a list with checkvist tricks https://checkvist.com/checklists/659528-checkvist-tricks Now there is only one trick but I want to add more of them. You can help me with it. Share your tricks by sending message here: post+346144c6da054b78e91b730be077fc31+659528@checkvist.com

Do you think to add two-factor authentification?

Do you think to add two-factor authentification? I'm geek a little bit about security things. If someone will get our password he can watch our lists and we will never know that. Or make e-mail alert when someone log into your account https://checkvist.uservoice.com/forums/2121-checkvist-web/suggestions/33128425-send-alert-by-e-mail-when-log-in https://checkvist.uservoice.com/forums/2121-checkvist-web/suggestions/14855532-two-factor-authentication
