Having sporadic problems moving items in the mobile app -- on an Android 7 phone.

Having sporadic problems moving items in the mobile app -- on an Android 7 phone. Sometimes when I try to drag an item it starts to move, then snaps back to where it started. That will happen for a while. Then if I try again an hour later, it may work. Any thoughts?

Hello, friends!

Hello, friends! Just a quick question. We plan to implement a new type of 'almost read-only' sharing - for those who share lists to get feedback from others but doesn't want them to modify the initial list. We don't want to create many options, but we want to fit live scenarios of instructions sharing, working with the 'field crew', etc. The initial idea is to allow only adding notes (something like 'can comment' permissions in Google Docs). Or shall we also support attachments and changing task status? What would work best in your scenario?

So I've been saving my lists locally as Markdown ever since that became the default, right?

So I've been saving my lists locally as Markdown ever since that became the default, right? Well, today I spent a good hour editing one of those Markdown files for a new list derived from an existing one, then went on to Checkvist to import my work... only to find that there's no import for Markdown. I get that not every export format makes sense to import. But why oh why is Markdown the default when it's one of these?

Hello, friends

Hello, friends, Until now, you probably did not know that we have a beta for our Checkvist Mobile app. We definitely do, and if you want to test setting priorities on mobile, open your browser at https://mmm.checkvist.com At the first glance, it works, but if you notice any problems with it - we'd love to hear! Best, https://mmm.checkvist.com

Finally, the last bugfixes from beta go live to production (and we have a couple of nominations from Capterra)

Finally, the last bugfixes from beta go live to production (and we have a couple of nominations from Capterra) Thanks, friends :) http://blog.checkvist.com/post/176029311853/bugs-fixes-and-two-capterra-nominations

New user and recent convert from workflowy.

New user and recent convert from workflowy. Love the product! Throughout the day I enter a single task, hit enter and am required to then hit escape to exit the task entry before navigating up or down. Wondering if it is currently possible to enter a single task and then return to navigation without escape. If not, I suggest up/down arrow keys to enter a task and avoid an additional textbox. Navigation up or down would occur directly and avoid the need to hit escape key.

Numbering incorrect when item is completed

Numbering incorrect when item is completed When I check/complete numbered items the numbering in the outline is incorrect (a refresh fixes it). This also happens when I show notes on an item

It would be very handy to have a single operation to move an item to another list, and then replace the item with a link to that new location. Something like 'extract to existing list' as opposed to the current 'extract as an new list' My use case: I make a distinction between lists which contain mostly action/todo items (in which every item is a candidate for completion), and which are largely for reference/record. Sometimes I move at item from the former type of list to the latter, but want a link left behind. It's quite likely this is far too niche a feature to be worth implementing, but "if you don't ask you don't get" ;)

Received several officially-GDPRish emails recently. At least now we see somebody actually needs the GDPR compliance we've been working on for a couple of months...

I saw that in your post under "What’s next?" you're mentioning "new UI" - if you are working on that could you please keep in mind being able to apply a custom mobile CSS for pro users? We currently have one for desktop but it would be great to have one for mobile so I that I can change the item colors to match my desktop.

Hi, Friends, Here is a summary post of our 7-day run. Most things from it you probably know from our previous postings, though :) http://blog.checkvist.com/post/175573362093/snacking-week-7-features-7-daily-updates As you see, now you can switch to the 'Darcula' UI mode right in the 'options' ('oo') menu:

Would it be possible to show the next due date right away when I use "cd" against a repeating task?

Would it be possible to show the next due date right away when I use "cd" against a repeating task? It would be a lot more useful to see the next due date right away instead of that recycle icon, as it does currently.

#6 - Saturday update. Sorting out the sort issues

#6 - Saturday update. Sorting out the sort issues You know the feeling when you sweep something under the carpet - and then feel guilty till you finally clean the damn thing up. That's exactly why we needed to polish the 'Sort' before our '7 daily updates' challenge ends. Fix #1: Sort is not a 'view option', it's an action that can be performed on a list or a branch. Hence the new position -- under the 'more actions'. Fix #2: Sort is performed only on the task text, not hyperlinks, or any other syntax at the beginning of the line Fix #3: Here go features, finally :) Meet the new sort option: Sort by the last update time Fix #4 is actually a little gem of this update -- the 'Shallow sort' mode. Ever wished to sort just the top level tasks, not mixing up the small to-dos under them? That's it - just select the checkbox in the 'Sort' dialogue box. Do you like it? We do! :) Thanks, @ShaoWei, @Aaron, @Xavier and many others for the
