I'm a PRO user, and I've gotten a friend who's not PRO to start using Checkvist. She accidentally deleted a bunch of items in an important list. I thought there would be a way to access a backup, but can't find one. Is there any way non-PRO users can retrieve items that might have deleted accidentally?

Hi all.

Hi all. Is there a way to work offline with Checkvist?  On iPad or iPod. Thanks.

One thing that might be cool: if I can type in the due date column "in 3 weeks" which would add 3 weeks to the current date. It would be nice to do that in days, months as well. What do you think?

Is it possible to add lines below the expand arrows (like in workflowy) using CSS? that way it is easier (for me at least) to see the outline structure.

How do I:

How do I: QUESTION 1) define different css styles for nested level x? e.g. If my list is: ① ↳A ↳(1) And I want to give all nodes of the (1) level the same style. QUESTION 2) I know how to style everything with a certain tag. But how do I automatically style the nested nodes inside the node I give a tag? e.g.: ① ↳A ↳(1) IF I tag ① with 'important-task-tree' I want a certain style to be applied to all nested nodes: A, B, C, ... and also a certain style to be applied to  A(1), A(2), B(1), B(2) and so on.

Hi

Hi, Is it possible to make an url link to two different zooms within the same list, and the excessing those simultaneously (so 2 open windows) without them both reverting to one "current zoom" ? thanks

Bug in the context of editing the text of a task.

Bug in the context of editing the text of a task. After pressing EE, the task's text is automatically selected. This is broken when the first word contains an Umlaut (äöü) at the first of second position. Further, the selection omits the first word if is just one character wide – or is that a feature? And the selection omits the first character if it is an opening bracket (Link Syntax).

Is there a keyboard shortcut to push back a due date?

Is there a keyboard shortcut to push back a due date? It would be cool if we could use (something like) + to push it back a day, and - to bring it forward, and maybe something to push back/bring forward a week!

Hi is it possible to add this to a checkvist task?  http://blog.toggl.com/2008/08/embed-toggl-timer-into-your-own-website/ the code snippet is  http://www.toggl.com/timer ” style=”width:275px;height:500px;border:none;”> I tried but didn't work. maybe the code should be a little bit differently formatted? (i'm no expert) or is it just not compatible with VC framework setup? thanks

I have a repeating task "Write monthly report".

I have a repeating task "Write monthly report".  I add subtasks to it, each listing a detail I will need to include in my next report. When I create the report, I include most of the items, but decide to leave some subtasks for the next report. Then I send my report and hit "space" on the "Write monthly report" (repeating) task. The task drops the "Overdue" flag, gets crossed out and so do all the subtasks. Now I lost the indication of what tasks remain for next month. Any thoughts on how I could handle this better? Perhaps this is a kind of task that should not be automated?

Using FontAwesome is a nice way of styling lists...

Using FontAwesome is a nice way of styling lists ( https://checkvist.com/checklists/486715-checkvist-customization-css-samples ). However, it does not work with "[1]-style"-numbered entries. It looks like the CSS counter is inserted at the very same location as the FontAwesome glyph (:before). Further, CSS attributes meant for the FontAwesome glyph – like color, size, font-weight, and spacing – are applied to the number, giving a strange look. Currently I'm adding another rule for numbered lists: .numberedList .tag_waiting .userContent:before {     content: counters(section, ".") ". \F017";     ... }

Can I move all completed tasks to another list?

Can I move all completed tasks to another list? Is there a best practice for clearing old completed tasks periodically?  I'm trying to figure this out as I accumulate more and more completed tasks in a list.

Question about CSS icon example:...

Question about CSS icon example: On  https://checkvist.com/checklists/486715-checkvist-customization-css-samples#task_16874318 the icon is added with "span.task_closed". Should that really work this way, or should it read "span.task_closed:before"?
Kirill, any reason why the multi-select doesn't work in the due list screen? (dd)

Recently I had to enter/modify a couple of due dates ("dd") and wished for something like: * entering a (signed) number: 1 or +1 = add one day, 5 or +5 = add five days, -2 = subtract two days * entering a (signed) number with a unit: 1w = add one week (month, year) * navigating in the calendar with cursor keys and/or j, k, h, l; and a means to switch to next/prev month using the keyboard. * entering a number when no due date is set, then the numbers are relative to today, i.e. 0 = today, 1 = tomorrow, ...

Hi, a few quick questions on using Checkvist:

Hi, a few quick questions on using Checkvist: Show/Hide Parent List Items Is it possible to show/hide parent list items when a sub-task is hoisted via the keyboard?  This would be great to have since everything else in Checkvist is keyboard-accessible. Move selection to parent list item via keyboard Is it possible to move the selection (highlight) "up a level" to a task's parent item.  For example, if the 10th child item is currently selected, is there a keyboard shortcut to jump to the parent item without having to press the up arrow key 10 times? Hoisted view: Move up a level via keyboard Is it possible to shift the hoisted view up a level to the parent list item via the keyboard.  Unhoisting a sub-task takes you back to the full list which can be disorienting (especially on large lists).  For example, jumping up a level would allow a quick look at a sub-task's sibling items without being exposed to the noise of the full list.

Hi - quick question on yesterday's server update: I noticed "Combining visible and invisible tags in the same list item"  but can't get this working. I have (dashes added to tags just to stop G+ tagging them up):    This is my item #-work #-boss And my CSS makes #-work invisible and gives it an icon (which BTW is the absolute killer feature for me which is why I got a Pro account). But when I do this then #-boss is made invisible too. There's no CSS syle defined for #-boss Am I doing something wrong? Is there something in my CSS I should look at? Thanks
