We're part of the fan club.

We're part of the fan club. We want to use one of our lists as a logger for tasks which have been completed. We want to sort by created date - not due date. Haven't noticed a straightforward way of doing this Is this something that we missed or is it something that could be a useful addition? Thanks heaps for Checkvist. It's the best

Just a small suggestion - it would be good to have a keyboard shortcut for "expand to level" - for example, "el" and then "2" would quickly expand to level 2 . Currently, as far as I can see you have to do "ec" and tab down a bit and enter the level and then "enter".

Mobile is a great app.

Mobile is a great app. One issue - it is not possible to 'close' a task that has subtasks, even if the subtasks are all closed. (Android Samsung Note 4).

CheckVist lets us move a task to another list.

CheckVist lets us move a task to another list. I wish we could copy a task to another list, too (i.e. without deleting the copy in the present list). Unfortunately, you've now used the term "task copy" for another function!

Request: Long-term user.

Request: Long-term user. Not a CSS or HTML guy. I want to change the line spacing on my lists. I would like more information on the page and the line spacing is too large. How can I modify it?

Automatically get Evernote tasks into Checkvist with taskclone

Automatically get Evernote tasks into Checkvist with taskclone   I responded to a question in this community about getting Evernote items into Checkvist. TaskClone uses Checkvist's email-to-task features so you can even add due dates, tags, or assignees directly from Evernote. http://www.taskclone.com

Request: Confirmation before canceling task/note editing when ESC key pressed

Request: Confirmation before canceling task/note editing when ESC key pressed Notes and tasks can contain a large amount of text, so accidentally brushing the ESC key when editing a task/note can be quite damaging, as the text field is closed immediately and all edits are lost. As a result, it would be great if Checkvist would confirm before exiting edit mode when the ESC key is pressed.  Unlike a text field in a standard form (where pressing the ESC key has no effect), it possible to lose a lot of work just by pressing a single key when editing a task or note in Checkvist (as you may imagine, this is something I've experienced first-hand). Please let me know if anything requires more details for clarification.  Thank you.

Import issue: OPML requires refresh

Import issue: OPML requires refresh Recently, tasks imported in OPML format will no longer be displayed until the page has been refreshed.  However, tasks imported in other formats (Wiki, Tabs, etc.) are displayed immediately. This is unfortunate because OPML provides the most control over structure and formatting when importing (e.g. formatting is often lost when importing tasks exported using the Markdown option) and refreshing the page affects productivity due to not being able to work until the list has been reloaded.

There's a CSS issue with nested ordered list () items in task notes:

There's a CSS issue with nested ordered list ( ) items in task notes: A rule set on ".userContent ul li" overrides the default "ol li" item styling (list-style-type: decimal) in user notes due to the selector's higher specificity.  This causes nested ordered list items to be displayed with bullet points rather than numbers. I've added some custom CSS to workaround this issue temporarily: .userContent ol > li {         list-style-type: decimal; } But it would be great if Checkvist's default CSS correctly handled styling itself (e.g. update the selector so that it only applies bullets to it's direct children, not all descendants). Thanks.
hi. How to create a sub task with hotkeys?

Hi

Hi, I am using an iPad Pro with a keyboard, and want to load the desktop version of my list, not the touch enabled version. Is there a way to force use of the desktop, keyboard version? Thanks, Alex

Hey Kirill

Hey Kirill, Checkvist shows the task as "overdue" when the due date elapses. Is there a CSS trick to show the days past due (instead of just overdue) for an overdue task? I am trying to (mis)use this feature to track the number of days since I have started a task. I was thinking I could simply mark a task with due date of today when I start it, and then use something like above to know how many days the task has been active. Thoughts?

I have encountered a font-rendering issue.

I have encountered a font-rendering issue. My Settings contains custom CSS (screen styles only) which changes the font family to Droid Sans. Everything works perfectly on the first laptop (where I made the change). However, when starting Checkvist on the second laptop, everything appears to render in Times New Roman. I've checked the custom CSS, logged-out and back in to Checkvist, deleted the Checkvist cookies (all of them), restarted the browser ... no difference. I've also temporarily disabled ad-blockers and the Disconnect plugin, in case they were interfering. No difference. This is in Google Chrome 51.0.2704.79 m on Windows 7 (first laptop) and Windows 10 (second laptop, same version of Chrome). This is probably something silly (and my fault, not Checkvist's) but I just can't see what it is... Help.
