CheckVist lets us move a task to another list.

CheckVist lets us move a task to another list. I wish we could copy a task to another list, too (i.e. without deleting the copy in the present list).

Unfortunately, you've now used the term "task copy" for another function!

  1. Hello Jim,

Fortunately, you have Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V to copy tasks between lists, with all subtasks. Have you used this?

  2. Let me clarify.

I want the same functionality of "mm", only without deleting the item from the present list.

So instead of "move to selected list", this would be, effectively, "copy to selected list".

  3. I see. If we implement task copy the may you suggest, we actually might join this functionality into the same mm shortcut, but provide there an option to copy instead of move.
Not many people asked for this, but you may want to vote for https://checkvist.uservoice.com/forums/2121-general/suggestions/1668399-add-copy-to-list-action-in-addition-to-move-to

    Thanks,

  4. Kirill,

Yes, it makes great sense to add this as an option in MM.

FWIW, I don't vote on such things. I believe you should add the features that feel right to you. People who vote for software features are an extremely filtered and non-representative group, so I don't believe that's good data and don't want to be a part of it.
