#6 - Saturday update. Sorting out the sort issues

You know the feeling when you sweep something under the carpet - and then feel guilty till you finally clean the damn thing up. That's exactly why we needed to polish the 'Sort' before our '7 daily updates' challenge ends.

Fix #1: Sort is not a 'view option', it's an action that can be performed on a list or a branch. Hence the new position -- under the 'more actions'.

Fix #2: Sort is performed only on the task text, not hyperlinks, or any other syntax at the beginning of the line

Fix #3: Here go features, finally :) Meet the new sort option: Sort by the last update time

Fix #4 is actually a little gem of this update -- the 'Shallow sort' mode. Ever wished to sort just the top level tasks, not mixing up the small to-dos under them? That's it - just select the checkbox in the 'Sort' dialogue box.

Hello friends! I'd like to ask for your opinion regarding multi-line text editing. This suggestion comes from one of our Russian-speaking customers Dolina Zamkova so here is a translated abstract of our email conversation. Current problem: When you write multi-line text, you must press 'Shift-Enter' first, then use 'Enter' to start a new line, then 'Ctrl-Enter' to submit the text. Wouldn't it be easier to have a setting that will allow using Enter to always write multi-line texts, and always submit on 'Ctrl-Enter', like you do it in text messengers? So we could add a new account-wide setting, on the Settings page: () Finish editing by pressing 'Ctrl-Enter' (convenient for multi-line text) What do you think? Do you write multi-line texts in Checkvist at all? Other thoughts of how we could make it better? :)
