Saved searches
For some time I use Dynalist (before discovering checkvist). One of the things I like about dynalist is the ability to create saved searches. This is very useful when doing something like a weekly review. That way you can define what tags and dates you want to see when you do a review without having to type them in.
Is there some way in Checkvist to do something similiar.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Chris Kunicki in the checkvist list (desktop browser) add your filter terms and hit enter twice to make it a global search. In the search results click on your list and it will re-apply the search to the list and you can copy and save the url.
ReplyDeleteWell, something like that! :)
I'd like to add that we have a request for saved searches in our uservoice, please vote for it: checkvist.uservoice.com - Support saved searches/dynamic lists
ReplyDeleteI think it needs at first more search options.. so you can search after or until a date + logical operators like "OR" or "AND".
ReplyDeleteA good example for such searches is Todoist or Dynalist.
Hello Frank Arnold, regarding more search options - you're right, but it is not simple to add. Please vote for https://checkvist.uservoice.com/forums/2121-checkvist-web/suggestions/2017839-allow-search-filter-by-tag-to-use-or-and-not
ReplyDeleteI think the "workaround" for this is the "due" tab, so for most people using such filters only to see what is coming next.
ReplyDeleteBtw.. is there an example for using Checkvist and GTD? Mainly for the "next action" and projects... I would use a tag "next-action" but the recommendation is to use a list...
We don't have a recommendation here. For the next action, you can use either a tag, or ASAP due (with ASAP, you may get an e-mail notification about your due tasks, in a PRO plan).
ReplyDeleteAs far as I understand, Checkvist is more suitable for Autofocus productivity system than for GTD.
