Is there a way to see all tasks, across all lists?
Is there a way to see all tasks, across all lists? Some days I just want to review everything to recalibrate priorities, due dates, etc.
I'd like to @import some fonts, but Checkvist's custom CSS is loaded inside @media screen.
I'd like to @import some fonts, but Checkvist's custom CSS is loaded inside @media screen. @import rules must precede all other types of rules (with a few exceptions), hence cannot be used. Would be great if there was a way to use @import with Checkvist's custom CSS option.
It depends how many tasks you've got as to whether you'll really want to do this.
ReplyDeleteYou could enter "in: open" into the filter box and hit return twice to do a global search.
If you have *many* items though you will need to hit "Get more search results" until you have them all. Each search will come back with new root/list items so you could get several root/list items for each list which ain't great.

ReplyDeletePerhaps if you described a little more of your workflow and why you want to see all tasks someone here might be able to suggest an alternative/workaround

ReplyDeleteThe lists are helpful but I find myself working in silos (each list being a silo) and not being able to evaluate my workload as a whole. The "Due" link is good except... If there is no due date the tasks are not included. Also (as far as I can tell) it's not possible to edit tasks in the "Due View"...
ReplyDeleteThe Due view in fact is the only view which is updated immediately.
ReplyDeleteIf you change tags or dates (say) for any items they will only appear in other, filtered views after the search index has been updated. In the Due view any change to filter results will be shown immediately.
You can change dates and notes in the Due view , changing tags may be coming soon.
Yes, I see. a "Due: Never" section in the "Due" view would be great.
ReplyDeleteJust to rethink, consider whether you really need multiple lists, or if you can get away with merging them into one grand list. That would, of course, give you all Checkvist powers in one window.

Thanks for all the input. I have now shifted all my tasks into a single list and whilst that solves my initial problem it now means my tasks are not grouped by list in the due view.
