Suppose I have tasks A, B, C due today.

Suppose I have tasks A, B, C due today. And say B is a (daily) repeating task. The iCal entry for today will come up as A, B, B, C (duplication of B, the repeating task).

You don't see the duplication in future entries until you get to that day. So say tomorrow I've got to do E and F (and B which is repeating daily). Then today I see my tomorrow's task as B, E, F but when I return to it tomorrow it will be B, B, E, F.

So, long story short, you've got a bug on how the repeating tasks are being pushed into iCal.

    I've just tried to reproduce the issue and it works for me, i.e. I don't see any duplication in the generated entries.

    May I take a look into your account and see your iCal feed? I'll need your registration e-mail in Checkvist.

    By the way, when we import iCal there is no way to edit the tasks/events on calendar unlles you copy it (one-by-one) to one's own calendar. Is there an easier way that you are aware of?

    The basic idea to schedule ToDos throughout a day.

    The Zapier is a complete mess - it does not work. It goes over a list and if an item does not have a due date, it breaks down.

    Hello Ali Madooei, thanks a lot for writing about the problem. I've reproduced it and I hope, I've fixed it. The fix is on the staging server, beta.checkvist.com - Checkvist: Keyboard-centric online outliner and task manager (same login/password). Could you please try getting the Calendar link from this site and check if the problem is fixed for you?

    As for scheduling times through the day - unfortunately, we don't have a better solution yet.

    While you are at this, is there a way the iCal would not end up being read-only? So I can move things around in GCal or Outlook.

    As for read-only - Checkvist does not export the data in read-only mode, the data should be editable. At least I managed to edit info in the google calendar. But, I'm not sure if such changes will persist, because Google updates calendar feed once a day from URL.

    That's really strange :( I don't see duplicating records in the calendar feed after my update. Could you please download calendar file from Checkvist and send it to kirsa@checkvist.com?

But with an extension - if an item is already on the top position on the current hierarchy level, Ctrl+Home would move item one level up (and put it at the beginning of this level). Hello friends! I'd like to ask for your opinion regarding multi-line text editing. This suggestion comes from one of our Russian-speaking customers Dolina Zamkova so here is a translated abstract of our email conversation. Current problem: When you write multi-line text, you must press 'Shift-Enter' first, then use 'Enter' to start a new line, then 'Ctrl-Enter' to submit the text. Wouldn't it be easier to have a setting that will allow using Enter to always write multi-line texts, and always submit on 'Ctrl-Enter', like you do it in text messengers? So we could add a new account-wide setting, on the Settings page: () Finish editing by pressing 'Ctrl-Enter' (convenient for multi-line text) What do you think? Do you write multi-line texts in Checkvist at all? Other thoughts of how we could make it better? :)
