Hi

Hi,

Was there an update to the CSS in the current beta? See screenshot, beta is on the left and life on the right. No big deal, I just wanted to check - I'll update my CSS when the beta is released I suppose.

  1. Hi, actually, there were several updates, and this is one of the consequences. I'll try to figure out if the coloring could be improved here.

  2. Hi again,

We've made some changes in our default color scheme on https://beta.checkvist.com, but so far we don't plan to revert to the old style of using the background color. We're going to change how selection + background works together, though.

Do you think the new style of background based priority is worse than it was before?

  3. I think that with the old way it was easier to see which entry was highlighted, and much easier to see which items were selected because the grey on the right would take of that. I see that now the background colors are taking the whole width for 456, I suppose that's OK but it's hard to see which ones are selected because the grey doesn't contrast enough, at least with the default CSS.

My approach is to highlight everything (123456) anyway because that works a lot better, so I'll keep doing that. Are you planning on making more changes soon, before the beta is released or can I go ahead and try to update my CSS to make it work for my use?

  4. Thanks for the comment. We've changed a way how selection works on background-enabled items; the background color is now shown in a "hole" in the selection. Please take a look how it works on beta, hope it is better.

    Thanks,

  5. You mean the bgMarker CSS element? I don't mind, I spent some time reviewing my custom CSS to make it work for me, so it's OK now :)

  6. Actually, at the moment there should be no need to style bgMarker, only span.bgN selector (at least this should be so after today's update).

  7. I had to set the background-color to transparent to make it work the way I wanted, but after my CSS review I'm happy with the update. What's the ETA for release?

  8. It should be in January. We're doing some updates on the mobile app and wanted to make a common release.
