I recently emailed a valid link for a list to friend which I copied from the browser and pasted into an email. Then I realized I should have used the "Share" feature instead. Is there any security risk of my friend creating his own Checkvist account and being able to access my account or any of my other lists since I shared this direct link incorrectly?

  1. Hi, your friend won't be able to see the data in your list unless you shared the list using "Share" feature (and if your list is not public for everyone, which, I believe, you didn't do either). Knowing list URL is not enough to get access to the data.

I'm really enjoy using checkvist, you are adding great features very quickly.
