Can I accomplish checking-off steps within each of my to-do items, e.g:
" - DO LAUNDRY:
- washed [Y/N]
- folded [Y/N]
- put away [Y/N]

"

    Hello,

    Yes, Checkvist is designed especially for this type of work :) Could you please elaborate - what is the problem - to create a hierarchical list, to complete a task or else?

    To create a hierarchy, you can either use Tab/Shift+Tab to change the nesting level of the current list item, or you can use Shift+Enter to add a sub-item for the current selection.

    To 'tick off', press Space on the keyboard. Checkvist is mostly designed for keyboard :) If you need checkboxes, open options menu 'oo' and select corresponding view option there.

Any Toggl users here? I'm putting together an integration so the toggl (Chrome extension) button ( https://github.com/toggl/toggl-button ) is displayed for tasks on a Checkvist list. It's dead simple (a few lines of javascript), but I'm slightly torn on the best way to handle one aspect: whether or not toggl is shown for a particular list. It can't be always-on, as it adds too much clutter for non-projecty lists (who wants a timer button for the carrots on their grocery list?). What I have now is that if any task on a list is tagged #toggl, then all tasks on that list will have the toggl button.
