Is there a way to automatically, or easily convert notes to sub items?

Is there a way to automatically, or easily convert notes to sub items? For example if Item-01 has a note, can the note automatically/easily be converted to a sub item of Item-01. I have imported a large number of items from another program that created notes. I would rather have these as sub items. Thanks!

    No very easy way AFAIK but you could export ("ex") the item (with notes checked) and in the View Results pop-up strip out the notes you want. Copy, paste, cancel. New item , paste.

    I'd be interested if there's an easier way though

    Another option is to use OPML export - in our OPML export, the notes are exported as

Any Toggl users here? I'm putting together an integration so the toggl (Chrome extension) button ( https://github.com/toggl/toggl-button ) is displayed for tasks on a Checkvist list. It's dead simple (a few lines of javascript), but I'm slightly torn on the best way to handle one aspect: whether or not toggl is shown for a particular list. It can't be always-on, as it adds too much clutter for non-projecty lists (who wants a timer button for the carrots on their grocery list?).
