Hello friends, Recently we've got a request to introduce a shortcut to move items to the first/last position on the current level of hierarchy: https://checkvist.uservoice.com/forums/2121-general/suggestions/15758854-shortcut-to-send-an-item-at-the-top-of-the-current And this bring me to a thought to use the current shortcut (Ctrl+Home/Ctrl+End) for this purpose. But with an extension - if an item is already on the top position on the current hierarchy level, Ctrl+Home would move item one level up (and put it at the beginning of this level). This will break the current behaviour (moving item to the beginning of the list), but probably will make this shortcut more useful. Not totally sure what you mean, but, in case it helps, I've been using over 100 lists for over a year, and have never touched any of the date features. Works fine.
ReplyDeleteBut if I accidentally hit 'space', it'll mark things as completed and hide them. This is no use for notes; only for task lists.
ReplyDeleteSod Almighty You can always disable "hide completed items" option in the 'oo' options popup. Also, there is UNDO for making item completed. Besides pressing space, which other problems you faced?
ReplyDeleteI haven't faced any others yet, but I may well do. I've not actually started using it properly. The point is, some documents shouldn't allow marking completed in the first place. Even if I can unmark it later, it's annoying. Also, if hide is on for some reason (is it set per-list or globally?) then I might not even know entries are missing.

Thanks, Jim Leff . Yes, Sod Almighty , I'm not going to do it, so far it does not look like a real problem, but an anticipating one. And we have lots of real problem to solve. And it is definitely not several minutes (consider testing, documentation, bugfixing, deployment, announce etc.).
