I switch between lists very often and find it really irritating, that I have to do two clicks, first expand list items and then click on a list. If it would be possible to move lists to the sidebar, switching between lists would be so much better.

Using tabs in your browser wouldn't be an option?
ReplyDeleteWhen switching, there is one thing that I find really irritating: links to lists open in the same browser tab, even if I abandon keyboard shortcuts (gg) and ctrl-click.
Ralf Hauber thanks, good idea. I always have one pinned tab open for Checkvist and switch to it when I have a note to write down, having two pinned tabs with different lists in them would work for me, thanks again.
ReplyDeleteMantas Zimnickas for that use case, I like keyboard shortcuts ctrl+1, ctrl+2, etc. that take you to your first, second, etc. browser tab (use cmd on Mac). For Chrome users, there is an extension that might come in handy: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/checkvist/kffhfpfmcgbogjmmhcogadccojfcaofk
ReplyDeleteRalf Hauber Please try 'gg' shortcut on https://beta.checkvist.com - it should open the link in new tab. Is it better?
ReplyDeleteKirill Maximov For me, it's better. I don't have to think any more what the link target is before pressing 'gg'.
