It work great, but I could not find a feature on my phone to add a web page to home screen. Also very often I drag items when I scroll and this triggers changes. And this happens very often so I think it is better to turn this dragging feature off and move it into an explicitly selected dragging mode.
ReplyDeleteOtherwise it works just great!
Mostly I user mobile version just for read only, because it is much easier to work on outline on a laptop and phone is good to have outline with you if you need to check something in it.
Hello Mantas Zimnickas! What kind of mobile device do you use? I assume it's not iOS/Safari, but it still leaves a lot of options :) The scrolling bug should have been fixed, but again, we might haven't tested it on your type of OS/browser. Will do!
ReplyDeleteSasha Maximova I'm using Samsung GT-I8160 with Android 4.1.2.
ReplyDeleteMantas Zimnickas And the browser? I would recommend Chrome, FireFox support has some glitches. As for adding to home screen, I believe it's a new feature (from Android 4.4.4), but you can at least bookmark it in the browser first, and then put it on the home screen. Does it work?
ReplyDeleteSasha Maximova I use default Android browser, I guess it is Chrome. There is a possibility to add a widget with link to a website to home screen, but when I opening it offline sometimes it loads from cache, sometimes not. Also just tried bookmark, and it worked offline.
ReplyDeleteSo I guess best thing with older Android is to use bookmarks. Thanks.
The only issue is accidental dragging when I scroll.
Hello Mantas Zimnickas Thanks for the details! Actually the default Android browser is not really Chrome and it can lack some features. Can I ask you to install Chrome on your phone and use the bookmark to m.checkvist.com from Chrome? I really hope the scrolling issue will disappear :)
ReplyDeleteFirst, let me thank you for all your hard work on both the desktop and the mobile version of CheckVist. I especially love the way CheckVist supports keyboard lovers like me.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I am not all too happy with the mobile version.
I use CheckVist on my Android smartphone, but I keep using the desktop version, since the mobile version does not seem to support keyboard action at all.
This version seems to have become even worse. Before, I could at least navigate using my Bluetooth keyboard, albeit not make use of the awesome shortcuts the desktop version offers.
Now I cannot even navigate using my keyboard.*
Is this behavior intended?
----
*Yes. I have made sure my keyboard works and it not an Android or Bluetooth problem.
Hello Adam Werling Sorry for the late answer. The behaviour is not intended, of course. We would like (and we are going to!) support the keyboard in the mobile version, too. Here's a request - please, vote for it to get notified about the progress. https://checkvist.uservoice.com/forums/239385-checkvist-mobile/suggestions/5862668-keyboard-support
