How do You Use Custom CSS with Checkvist?

I have seen the nice examples of how to customize Checkvist as shown in
 https://checkvist.com/checklists/486715?permalink=42913

I would find it immensely helpful if someone could give some kind of a primer for the inexperienced to get started using CSS.

Is the CSS code part of the Checkvist document?  How can such CSS be invoked?

Any help for the uninitiated would be very appreciated.

  1. Hello Jim McGuire ,

CSS is a web language which affects how data is presented on a Web page (visual aspects). Checkvist PRO customers can apply own CSS rules to Checkvist pages. One can set own CSS rules in Checkvist at the bottom of this page: https://checkvist.com/auth/profile#appearance

Checkvist is a Web application, so it presents its data with HTML, and to style this data, it uses CSS. And this CSS can be changed to create effects you saw on the sample page.

As a start for studying HTML/CSS you can try this link: https://www.codecademy.com/tracks/web or this: https://www.khanacademy.org/computing/computer-programming/html-css/intro-to-css/p/css-basics#

      Hope this helps,
