Just tried clipper (2Checkvist) in GMail in Firefox on both my Macbook Pro and a Windows 7 laptop and it seems to work fine.
ReplyDeleteRoger Searjeant Doesn't work for me in FF. Most likely, you had GMail either cached or your GMail server were not yet updated.
ReplyDeleteWe've developed a new Chrome Bookmarklet extension, which should work with GMail: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/checkvist-bookmarklet/pheahjlflgbnajeilgglgcdlbkdckamf
Unfortunately, we don't have a version for Firefox so far.
Kirill Maximov Yes, you're right: it doesn't work in a fresh FF session.
ReplyDeleteJust installed the new Chrome extension, and tried on three machines, 2 x Win7 and one Macbook Pro.
I found I needed to restart Chrome for the context menu item to work at all: immediately after installing, clicking the menu has no effect at all.
If you are not signed-in to Checkvist when you click the 2Checkvist menu item, the popup page appears with the login prompt. However, the 'close' link doesn't work - the popup remains stuck on top of the tab. This is annoying.
Eugene Legkiy Have you tried Checkvist bookmarklet chrome extension? https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/checkvist-bookmarklet/pheahjlflgbnajeilgglgcdlbkdckamf
ReplyDeleteAre you using GMails for business account? It wasn't supported earlier, now we added the support in the extension, but this also requires changes on the checkvist.com site. We haven't updated checkvist.com with the appropriate fixes yet - that's why the links are not recognized there.
ReplyDeleteIf you open the list on beta.checkvist.com, links should be recognized correctly.
Glad it works for you :)
