A bug with m.checkvist.com: Tasks due today are shown due yesterday.
If I create a task using the web interface and mark it as due ^today, it will show as due [today] on checkvist.com, but as due [yesterday] when viewed on m.checkvist.com. The same goes for tasks created on m.checkvist.com, with the additional wrinkle that for half a second, immediately after creation, they show as due [today] before flipping to show as due [yesterday].
(I'm using ^today to indicate how they are entered / edited and [today] to indicate the white-on-magenta display.)
Time zone problem?

Time zone problem?
Yes I see the same problem. I am PST time zone.
ReplyDeleteI am EST. It's the same day here and UTC, so maybe the time zone guess is wrong.
ReplyDeleteIt is still likely something with time zone between where servers are (Netharlands?) and us. There might be some calculation on client side that is being mis-interpreted.
ReplyDeleteHello! Sorry for the problem. Could you please check your time zone settings on the profile page, https://checkvist.com/auth/profile#status ? If it shows your correct time zone, then it's apparently a bug, we'll be fixing it.
ReplyDeleteYes it shows the correct timezone and it works fine on the regular site. The issue is only with the new mobile m.checkvist site.
ReplyDeleteThanks for looking into it!
Balaji Vasudevan So it's a bug. Hope to fix it in the next release. And many thanks for the help!
ReplyDeleteSame here. My timezone is properly set on checkvist.com, but all my mobile dates are a day earlier than all my web dates.
ReplyDeleteAnother question. Do you have the same timezone set on your mobile device as on the main site? Currently, the m.checkvist.com should show the due date in the timezone of the mobile device.
ReplyDeleteYes. Everything is in the same timezone: EST.
ReplyDeleteWe've managed to reproduce it. Hope to fix soon, thanks!
ReplyDeleteYay, thanks for fixing. Looks good now!
