Hi guys.
Hi guys. I just launched a very simple mail-in service for Checkvist. Use it to add tasks to your checklists via email. Even the (short) description of the service is a public checklist :)

This is great Alex Kapranoff - I'll be trying it tomorrow, but it's bedtime right now for me :^)
ReplyDeleteSounds great. Will definitely try out. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteNice. Do you plan to push the code to GitHub?
ReplyDeleteIt's about 30 lines of code, really. But yeah, since this thing works with sensitive information, I think it could use some peer review. Will do that.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'd like to have a look.
ReplyDeleteGreat contribution, thanks!
ReplyDeleteGreat!
ReplyDeleteIs your code open source/free software? Under what license? Can I run it on my own server instead of using your mail2cv.com server?
Thank you!
I love the way to get around the restriction of adding via an email address other than the one registered to the account - great idea and there are plenty of other services that should be doing the same.
ReplyDeleteRalf Hauber Tobbe Mattsson Here is the code: https://github.com/kappa/mail2cv. Yes, you can definitely run it anywhere, it is pure Perl and therefore very portable. I only ask to publish significant improvements.
